Quality perception (through sensory) of product, it enhances the consumer’s perceived product value. Excellent craftsmanship in design compels buyers to purchase the product. Automakers realize that the consumers' perception(expectation) is getting more sophisticated, while their product craftsmanship is not. So Craftsmanship has become a key differentiator to win market share.
Worked since 2013 as the Perceived Quality engineer at HAITEC Designer Center with product’s aesthetics, function, and tangible quality positioning in three vehicle programs under the “Luxgen” brand name in Yulon Group, in Taiwan and China. It covered from product’s value positioning; materials and manufacturing initiation and research phase; vehicle’s features setting; digital data clinic; benchmarking analysis of competitor's materials and aesthetic phase, design execution and all the way down the vehicle development process to math release of the industrialization phase. Our team has successfully identified design preferences that match consumer preferences up to 85%.
